Rememo In this research-through-design study, we co-developed Rememo, a tool kit for reminiscence therapy, with therapy staff working with people living with dementia. Rememo pairs illustrated prompt cards with a mobile web app for generating culturally grounded images for discussion. By embedding AI within a tangible, facilitator-led workflow, Rememo extends staff capacity while keeping care human-led.
We will present this work at CHI 2026!
Hocus PocusHocus Pocus is a workshop series designed by the lab for Alexandra Primary School. In this workshop, parent-child duos explored and made interactive dioramas that imagine superpowers that they would like to have. Making activities were centered on a custom app we developed that systematically guides learners through programming interactive visuals that are brought to live with a “magic wand” crafted from everyday materials.
We shared our experience with educators at the Singapore Design Education Summit 2025!
